Retro Optical Art by Riccardo Sabatini

The next stop in our Arty Days Around the World feature is Bonn, Germany, however we’re yet to find anthing that has grabbed us yet, so suggestions welcome.

Somehow though we came across the work of Italian creative Riccardo Sabatini.

This is our favourite print from his OPTI LABS series. It has a great mid century retro influence to it. Not too over the top or ‘crazy’ pyschadelic though.

The print is massive; 1m x 1.5m.  It’s printed on a 450 gram Stonepaper which gives it a rough texture (for that extra retro effect woodchip wallpaper effect!).

We don’t think the print or any editions are available for sale at the moment but we’ll let you know.
